Tim founded Blackhall & Pearl and now serves as Chairman. He leads our associate firm Pearl Analytics, providing boards with secure tools to enhance their governance capabilities.

His international career spans executive and board roles across large and complex organisations, beginning his senior career as an Executive Director at University of Melbourne. He went on to become Global Chief of Staff for Risk Management at Bankers Trust New York. He later joined Fidelity as Global Chief Risk Officer before advancing to Executive Director for Fidelity Continental Europe.

Tim’s doctorate research on Board Performance included comprehensive interviews with chairs and directors of major stock exchanges, giving him unique insights into high-performing boards. He has a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Tim has also contributed his expertise as a director on the boards and committees of Vision Australia Trust and Victoria University.
