Steven leads Blackhall & Pearl as the CEO and Managing Partner, bringing three decades of experience bridging business, government, and community sectors. His strategic counsel has guided the Chief Executives and Chairs of Australia’s largest companies, Government Ministers, and Community Leaders.

Steven’s career highlights include serving as Chief Executive of the Australian Banking Association, Chairman of the International Banking Federation, Chairman of the Finance Industry Council of Australia, and Deputy Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia.

As an inaugural member of the ASX Corporate Governance Council, Steven had a key role in shaping corporate governance standards. His diverse experience includes leadership of a small not-for-profit organisation and time as a senior Federal public servant.

Steven is passionate about social justice and has served on the boards of an environmental technologies company and an Indigenous community organisation. He is currently a Director of The Big Issue and Homes for Homes.
