Mike brings extensive board performance and corporate governance expertise to Blackhall & Pearl. Over 23 years with global accounting giant KPMG, he led the National Board Advisory Practice and served as a Director of KPMG’s Risk Executive. His tenure included leadership roles in external and internal auditing, transaction advisory, strategy and risk consulting, supply chain advisory, capital markets reporting, and industry business development.

Alongside advisory roles, Mike has also been the CEO of family businesses and start-ups disrupting industries.

At Blackhall & Pearl, Mike has been instrumental in developing the board performance practice, managing hundreds of reviews across a variety of sectors, with a key interest in financial services and superannuation.

Mike currently serves on the Design Institute of Australia board and as Deputy Chairman of Red Stitch Actors Theatre.
