Leon brings more than 20 years’ experience working with boards and the c-suite to enhance overall governance effectiveness. His expertise spans health, aged care, education, not-for-profit and community-focused organisations.

Leon has also worked with numerous organisations in consultation with the board on vital leadership appointments, including Chair, director and executive-level placements, for clients across international development, NGOs, social services, charities and foundations.

His career includes governance advisory, executive consulting and senior leadership roles across professional bodies and specialist governance and executive search firms, including entities such as People for Purpose and GovernWith as well as professional bodies such as the Governance Institute of Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.

At Blackhall & Pearl, Leon specialises in board and governance advisory for purpose-driven organisations.

Leon is currently a Director on the board of Child and Family Services (CAFS) in western Victoria.
