Judith brings extensive expertise in governance to the insights she offers as a Partner at Blackhall & Pearl.

She is a seasoned CEO, having led the Stockbrokers and Investment Advisers Association and the Australian Shareholders Association. As a two-decade member of the ASX Corporate Governance Council, she is a recognised architect of contemporary governance frameworks and brings an authoritative perspective to the boardroom.

As National Director, Policy & Advocacy at the Governance Institute of Australia, she developed a significant body of guidance on good governance practice. She was appointed by the Federal Government to the independent legislative review of virtual AGMs and named as one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence for her work in public policy.

Judith’s significant experience in governance spans listed, unlisted, not-for-profit and arts sectors. Her diverse career includes the publishing and film industries, as well as NFP member associations. She served on the Board of Playworks and is currently on the Board of SIAA. She has also published two novels, one of which was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award.
