With four decades of experience in professional services and corporate environments, Darryl specialises in risk management and controls at both board and operational levels.

His international career includes 11 years as a lead partner with Deloitte, working with major US clients, including some of the largest consumer product companies in the world. He was an independent advisor and executive at major corporations including Amcor.

Darryl’s experience offers significant insight into global risk management and control practices with some of the world’s largest companies. His roles have ranged from strategic advisor and coach to full outsourced CRO (Chief Risk Officer). At Blackhall & Pearl, Darryl leads risk oversight in board performance. His core philosophy emphasises the importance of all organisational lines contributing strategic value, challenging traditional overhead perspectives of risk and control functions.
